What I believe

God - There is One God, who exists in three persons: The Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus -  Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ, who was born of a virgin, who is wholly God which is His eternal nature, and wholly man, the nature He took on when He came to this earth, but one person, the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, and died on the Cross for every sinner who believes in Him (The Lord Jesus paid their sin debt in full), and He was buried, and He arose bodily from the grave on the third day for their justification. The Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven, where He intercedes for His people at the right hand of the Father.

Christ's Return - The Lord Jesus Christ will literally return to earth.

Holy Spirit - God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation, and is the Comforter and Guide to every believer in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer.

Bible - The Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life and faith.

Creation - God created in six literal days and rested on the seventh day. God did not use the means of evolution to create.

Man - Man is a special creation of God, made in His image, but through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell, so that all men are sinners and need salvation.

Salvation - Salvation is a free gift of God (Christ paid the full price on the Cross), received through repentance toward God, and faith in the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Salvation is by God's grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way for salvation.

Assurance - Every person who is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ. They are saved by grace and kept by grace in Christ Jesus.

Eternity - Everyone who rejects the Lord Jesus Christ will die in their sins, and will spend eternity in hell.

Everyone believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins, and will spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Baptism - Water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Christ, and is done after salvation by immersion.

Church -  The Church is the body of Christ (the believers in Christ Jesus are the many members, but they are one body), with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head of His body.

Prayer - Every believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord's Supper - The Lord's Supper is done in remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ. The bread symbolizes the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, which was given for us, and the cup symbolizes the blood of Jesus which was shed for us, and is done until the Lord comes. The bread and the contents of the cup never become the literally body and blood of Jesus. The Lord's Supper is only for believers.

I am an Evangelical Christian; I am a reformed Baptist; I am a Pretribulationist (the church will be raptured from this earth before the tribulation period, and Premillennialist (Christ will come to this earth and set up His Millennial kingdom, and reign for a thousand years on this earth).
